The lovingly designed zoo is home to around 2000 Alpine animals of around 150 species in natural enclosures, terrariums and aquariums. Especially in spring, when the first young animals see the light of day, there is a lot going on at the Alpine Zoo. There are 2 paths you can choose. You can become a volunteer or a docent. Volunteers help with activities such as: Animal meal prep. Fund raising. Community outreach. Snack bar at the zoo. Events.
