The Haven Southtown Mexican Restaurant y Cantina ("The Haven") has been a brunch staple of mine for years. For some reason or another, when I visit San Antonio, I usually end up staying in the Alamo Heights area, and this place always feels inviting when it is usually just around the corner. I have no idea how long it has been around.

I found this place while searching for something nearby. My son was hungry and works nearby. Placed a phone order for 6 tacos - 1 chorizo egg, 1 potato egg, 2 potato bacon egg, 2 bacon egg cheese....all for $13.71 anyplace else I've placed a similar order would be at least $10 more.
